4-H Extension Presents “Maker Spaces”!

Silly Safaris presents “Aliens… Really Weird Animals”!

You’re invited to our library event! Silly Safaris will be at the library on Tuesday, July 16! Silly Safaris presents “Aliens… Really Weird Animals”, and they will have really cool and weird animals for us to see! We’re really excited! The free event starts at 6:00 pm and is for ALL AGES. All this week, we’re having “Ugly” Christmas Sweater week! Stop by the library wearing your Christmas Sweater, and have your picture taken in front of our holiday backdrop. If you let us take your picture in your Christmas Sweater for our Facebook page, we’ll even give you a prize! One person has already won this week, and you could be next!

Join us at the library this Friday at 11:30 am for Storytime! We’re reading “Snow Party” by Harriet Ziefert and making a snowkid! Storytimes are every Tuesday and Friday at 11:30. We’d love to see you here!

This Saturday, December 15th, Frost the Snowman is coming to the library!!!! Visit the library from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm to take a picture with Frosty. Please bring your own camera for a picture with Frosty. We’re also having a book giveaway and refreshments too!

Next Saturday, December 22, at 11:00 am, we are having a winter storytime! We’ll read a story and do a craft. We hope you’ll join us!

Winter Storytime!

Stories with Miss Glenda!

Make plans to be here Saturday morning (Nov. 3) at 11 for “Stories with Miss Glenda!”. This month’s story will be the “Woman Who Swallowed A Pie”. Kids will use props to help them remember the story and will make their own craft so they can tell the story at home. HOW FUN IS THAT?? They will LOVE it! (and it’s educational!)

Thank you WTIU for access to Children’s iPads!

Thank you to WTIU and Kaitlen Allen for the children’s iPads! Each iPad is filled with children’s educational games, mainly for preschool and lower elementary children. These iPads are available for children to play with at the library (not for checkout). We will also be using them during our Storytime last and events. Stop by the library with your children to see one of the iPads!

Today’s story time had us getting hungry!

Thank you to everyone who came to today’s Little Readers Storytime! We had a great time adding on our glitter sprinkles to our cupcakes! We hope you’ll join us next Friday at 11:30 am for another storytime!
