The staff of the Paoli Public Library is excited to offer a new service to the residents of Paoli and Paoli Township. Paoli Public Library has established a new program to serve its community better, especially in the area of those who are unable to come to the library due to illness or disability, which renders them home-bound. The program is the Paoli Public Library Outreach Serving Homebound program. Volunteers will deliver and pick-up materials that a patron requests. Unfortunately, the volunteers are not yet in place, but until they are, patrons may depend on a person of his / her choice to fill the void. Once a request reaches the staff, they will have the requested materials ready to go at the designated time. When the items are ready for return, the helper can bring them back to the library.
If you are homebound and wish to participate in this service, call the library at 1-812-723-3841 ext. 101 to obtain your registration packet. If calling is not an option, have your designated helper come to the library to pick-up your paperwork. There are five pieces of information in this packet, three of which need to be returned to the library. Mailing your completed forms to the library is also an option.

Only ten persons can initially be accepted in the program, so it is important to get the application returned as soon as possible for approval. Each participant must have a valid Evergreen library card. Persons who do not have a library card may apply for one. The card information is in the packet.
